July 7-9, 2009		Nairobi, Kenya Harambee Arts collaborates with Trauma Resource Institute to present workshops in learning Trauma First Aid. This group has developed a method of going into trauma situations and intervening to reduce the residual effects of the trauma. Trainings will take place at KAPC (Kenya Association of Professional Counselors) and at The Kenyatta National Hospital, Patient Support Center.
July 8-31, 2009		Venice, Italy Fourth International Conference on the Arts in Society Harambee Arts will present 60 minute workshop and exhibit artwork created by HIV+ women prisoners from Nairobi's Langata Prison.
